Stampin' Up! Daisy Delight and Wood Textures DSP

Hi everyone!  Hope you had a wonderful Easter weekend!  I'm excited to share this card with you today.  There's something about daisies and wood textures that just seem to go together.  Whether they're growing wild along a wooden fence, bursting from a wooden crate on your patio or decorating a window box, there's such beauty there.  And this card is a nod to that.  😊

I've listed the measurements, instructions and supplies below so you can enjoy some craft time and make one yourself!  Click on any of the supplies to shop.  😊

Measurements:  Card base - Early Espresso, 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 (Score at 4 1/4)
                              Front panel - Wood Textures DSP, 5 1/4 x 4
Square Scalloped Frame - Early Espresso, Layering Squares Framelits (2 1/2 scalloped, 2 1/8 square, nested)
Scraps - Night of Navy, Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive
Ribbon - 1/4" Copper Trim, 8"  (two pieces)

Instructions:  Cut, score and fold your card base.  Cut front panel and cut out a square at a slant, slightly down and to the left of center (see photo) using the die measuring 2 1/8 x 2 1/8 from the Layering Squares Framelits.  Punch out two circles from the scrap left over from cutting out that square, using the 1/2" Circle Punch.  Cut the frame out of Early Espresso cardstock using the Layering Squares Framelits.  Stamp two daisies from the Daisy Delight stamp set in Night of Navy ink onto Night of Navy cardstock.  Repeat with the Rich Razzleberry ink and cardstock.  Punch these out using the Daisy Punch, attach each set together using glue dots (stagger the petals) and attach the 1/2" circles to the centers.  Stamp three sets of leaves from the Oh So Eclectic stamp set onto Old Olive cardstock with Old Olive ink and cut out with the Eclectic Layers dies.  Run an Aqua Painter along the Early Espresso ink pad and flick the brush over the card base to create flecks (this step is optional but adds nice texture).  Temporarily set the front panel onto the card base as a placement guide and stamp the sentiment in Versamark ink using the Oh So Eclectic stamp set (see photo).  Sprinkle with Copper Stampin' Emboss Powder, knock off the excess and set with our Heat Tool.  Glue the frame in place on front panel.  Attach the Night of Navy daisy under the front panel in the top left corner and one leaf die cut in the bottom left corner using glue dots (see photo).  Snip off anything sticking out along the left edge of front panel.  Attach the Rich Razzleberry daisy and the other leaf die cuts to the top right corner of front panel using glue dots (see photo).  Stretch the Copper Trim ribbon to make it wider and open the weave a bit and attach it to the bottom of front panel using snail or tape.  Tie a bow in the second piece of ribbon and stretch the bow loops.  Attach it to the front panel ribbon towards the right using glue dots.  Attach the front panel to the card base with dimensionals.  Add a few copper sequins from our Metallics Sequin Assortment using the Fine-Tip Glue Pen.

Stampin' Up! Butterfly Gala

Hi everyone!  Hope you've had an awesome week!  I wanted to share this card using two of my favorite products from our 2019 Occasions catalog - the Butterfly Gala stamp set (which goes with the Butterfly Duet punch) and the Butterfly Beauty thinlits (which go with the Beauty Abounds stamp set).  All four products work so well together and I've really enjoyed mixing and matching them on different cards!  I used the baby wipe technique on this one for a pretty effect.  I love how it turned out!

The measurements, instructions and supplies are listed below so you can enjoy creating one, too!  😊  Click on any of the supplies to shop.

Measurements:  Card Base - Night of Navy, 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 (Score at 4 1/4)
                              Front Panel - Whisper White, 5 1/4 x 4
                              Small Rectangle Panel - Night of Navy, 2 11/16 x 11/16
Stitched Rectangle - Whisper White, smallest of the Rectangle Stitched Framelits
Ribbon - Whisper White 5/8" Flax Ribbon, 5"
Scrap - Watercolor Paper, for butterfly die cut, at least 5 1/2 x 4 1/2

Instructions:  Cut, score and fold your card base.  Cut front panel and emboss with the Subtle Embossing Folder.  Cut the butterflies out of the Watercolor Paper using the Butterfly Beauty Thinlits.  Cut the pieces for your sentiment.  Fold four to six baby wipes in half, stack them and scatter 10 drops each of three different Stampin' Ink Refills all over the surface.  I used Pacific Point, Melon Mambo and Pineapple Punch but you can try your own color combos.  Press the butterfly die cut onto the inked baby wipes.  Rotate, press and repeat until you get the coverage you want.  You may want to use gloves for this because your hands WILL get inky!  Stamp your sentiment from the Butterfly Gala stamp set in Night of Navy ink onto the stitched rectangle.  Attach the butterflies to the front panel (see photo) using glue dots.  I just put them in a few places because it adds nice dimension to have areas of the die cut lifting up. Attach the ribbon by securing it to the back with snail or tape.  Attach the sentiment to the small rectangle panel and attach that piece to the flax ribbon using dimensionals.  I also put a glue dot between the ribbon and the butterfly to secure it in place.  Use dimensionals to stick the front panel onto your card base.  Add some Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots.

Stampin' Up! Humming Along Bundle

Hi everyone!  Hope you're having a great week!  I'm excited to share this sweet and simple card using the Humming Along stamp set and coordinating framelits.  I'm not an artist by any means but the Stampin' Blends markers I used to color the images make it so easy to do blending and shading that I feel like one!  😊 And I love the dimension that's added by layering the die cuts!

Here are the measurements, instructions and supplies used so you can create your own work of art!  Click on any of the supplies to shop.

Measurements:  Card base - Whisper White, 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 (Score at 4 1/4 on long side)
                               First layer - Soft Suede, 5 1/8 x 3 7/8
                               Top layer - Whisper White, 5 x 3 3/4
                               Rectangle Frame - Soft Suede, Rectangle Stitched Framelits (the 2 7/8 x 1 1/2 and 2 1/2 x 1 1/8 frames, nested)
Scrap - Whisper White, to die cut humming birds and flowers

Instructions:  Cut, score and fold your card base.  Cut your layers and frame.  Stamp the humming bird and flower from the Humming Along stamp set onto the scrap of Whisper White with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  Color with Stampin' Blends markers and cut out with Hummingbird Framelits.  I used the colors listed below but you can use whatever colors you'd like, it's your creation!  (I even tried several different color combos.  There's a picture of those above.)  Cut four more hummingbirds and four more flowers from the Whisper White scrap and layer them together with glue to create thickness, gluing the stamped and colored image on top.  Stamp the "Thank you" from the Humming Along stamp set onto the Whisper White top layer, down and slightly left of center (see photo).   Position the frame around the "Thank you" (without gluing it down yet) and set the piece that was cut from the center of the frame back into place with a tiny bit of snail.  Remove the frame and this will create a mask so you can stamp the background with the Crackle Paint stamp in Soft Suede.  Use snail to attach the first and top layer to the card base.  Glue the frame into place.  Attach the hummingbird and flower (see photo).  I used glue dots to attach mine.

Stampin' Up! Share What You Love Suite

Hi everyone!  I'm so excited to bring you my first ever blog post!  Yay!  😊

My youngest daughter picked the card to share and she chose well because, not only does it showcase one of my favorite product suites from our 2018/2019 Annual Catalog, but it's also a fun fold card so, double fun!

Hope you like it!  I have the measurements, instructions and supplies listed below in case you want to have some fun and make one, too!  😊  Click on any of the supplies to shop.

Measurements:  Card base - Tranquil Tide, 11 x 4 1/4  (Score at 2 3/4 from each end)
                               Inside panel - Whisper White, 5 1/4 x 4
                             Front panels (2) - Share What You Love DSP, 2 1/2 x 4
Rectangle frame - Tranquil Tide, Rectangle Stitched Framelits, third and fifth in from the biggest (nested)
Rectangle panel - Whisper White, Rectangle Stitched Framelits, fifth in from the biggest
Flower - Share What You Love DSP, cut out by hand

Instructions:  Cut out all your pieces.  Score and fold your card base.  Use the Love What You Do stamp set to stamp the images on the inside panel and the stitched rectangle panel (see photos).  Use snail adhesive to attach inside panel and two DSP panels.  Apply snail adhesive to left half of Tranquil Tide frame and attach to front of card.  Apply snail adhesive to right half of stitched rectangle panel and attach to front of card inside frame.  Add flower with a mini dimensional.  Add faceted dots.  I used black dots on this card, but I made another version using the Mint Macaron dots and I think I liked it better.
