Stampin' Up! Daisy Delight and Wood Textures DSP

Hi everyone!  Hope you had a wonderful Easter weekend!  I'm excited to share this card with you today.  There's something about daisies and wood textures that just seem to go together.  Whether they're growing wild along a wooden fence, bursting from a wooden crate on your patio or decorating a window box, there's such beauty there.  And this card is a nod to that.  😊

I've listed the measurements, instructions and supplies below so you can enjoy some craft time and make one yourself!  Click on any of the supplies to shop.  😊

Measurements:  Card base - Early Espresso, 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 (Score at 4 1/4)
                              Front panel - Wood Textures DSP, 5 1/4 x 4
Square Scalloped Frame - Early Espresso, Layering Squares Framelits (2 1/2 scalloped, 2 1/8 square, nested)
Scraps - Night of Navy, Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive
Ribbon - 1/4" Copper Trim, 8"  (two pieces)

Instructions:  Cut, score and fold your card base.  Cut front panel and cut out a square at a slant, slightly down and to the left of center (see photo) using the die measuring 2 1/8 x 2 1/8 from the Layering Squares Framelits.  Punch out two circles from the scrap left over from cutting out that square, using the 1/2" Circle Punch.  Cut the frame out of Early Espresso cardstock using the Layering Squares Framelits.  Stamp two daisies from the Daisy Delight stamp set in Night of Navy ink onto Night of Navy cardstock.  Repeat with the Rich Razzleberry ink and cardstock.  Punch these out using the Daisy Punch, attach each set together using glue dots (stagger the petals) and attach the 1/2" circles to the centers.  Stamp three sets of leaves from the Oh So Eclectic stamp set onto Old Olive cardstock with Old Olive ink and cut out with the Eclectic Layers dies.  Run an Aqua Painter along the Early Espresso ink pad and flick the brush over the card base to create flecks (this step is optional but adds nice texture).  Temporarily set the front panel onto the card base as a placement guide and stamp the sentiment in Versamark ink using the Oh So Eclectic stamp set (see photo).  Sprinkle with Copper Stampin' Emboss Powder, knock off the excess and set with our Heat Tool.  Glue the frame in place on front panel.  Attach the Night of Navy daisy under the front panel in the top left corner and one leaf die cut in the bottom left corner using glue dots (see photo).  Snip off anything sticking out along the left edge of front panel.  Attach the Rich Razzleberry daisy and the other leaf die cuts to the top right corner of front panel using glue dots (see photo).  Stretch the Copper Trim ribbon to make it wider and open the weave a bit and attach it to the bottom of front panel using snail or tape.  Tie a bow in the second piece of ribbon and stretch the bow loops.  Attach it to the front panel ribbon towards the right using glue dots.  Attach the front panel to the card base with dimensionals.  Add a few copper sequins from our Metallics Sequin Assortment using the Fine-Tip Glue Pen.
