The measurements, instructions and supplies are listed below so you can enjoy creating one, too! 😊 Click on any of the supplies to shop.
Measurements: Card Base - Night of Navy, 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 (Score at 4 1/4)
Front Panel - Whisper White, 5 1/4 x 4
Small Rectangle Panel - Night of Navy, 2 11/16 x 11/16
Stitched Rectangle - Whisper White, smallest of the Rectangle Stitched Framelits
Ribbon - Whisper White 5/8" Flax Ribbon, 5"
Scrap - Watercolor Paper, for butterfly die cut, at least 5 1/2 x 4 1/2
Instructions: Cut, score and fold your card base. Cut front panel and emboss with the Subtle Embossing Folder. Cut the butterflies out of the Watercolor Paper using the Butterfly Beauty Thinlits. Cut the pieces for your sentiment. Fold four to six baby wipes in half, stack them and scatter 10 drops each of three different Stampin' Ink Refills all over the surface. I used Pacific Point, Melon Mambo and Pineapple Punch but you can try your own color combos. Press the butterfly die cut onto the inked baby wipes. Rotate, press and repeat until you get the coverage you want. You may want to use gloves for this because your hands WILL get inky! Stamp your sentiment from the Butterfly Gala stamp set in Night of Navy ink onto the stitched rectangle. Attach the butterflies to the front panel (see photo) using glue dots. I just put them in a few places because it adds nice dimension to have areas of the die cut lifting up. Attach the ribbon by securing it to the back with snail or tape. Attach the sentiment to the small rectangle panel and attach that piece to the flax ribbon using dimensionals. I also put a glue dot between the ribbon and the butterfly to secure it in place. Use dimensionals to stick the front panel onto your card base. Add some Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots.
